KidzArt CEO/Co-Founder — Shell Herman
In 1993, Shell began to develop the KidzArt
concept, which was fully developed as a franchise with
co-founder Chris Cruikshank.
Shell has a Masters of Science degree in
Vocational and Career Counseling and has worked in the field
for over 15 years owning and operating her own career
counseling practice. She has been featured twice in a major
metropolitan newspaper, on a TV news program and has written
several published articles on topics of "Career Change" and
"Doing What You Love For A Living." Shell has worked
independently and for others as a secondary education teacher,
trainer, counselor, business owner, color consultant and
artist.
With the KidzArt concept franchised in July
2002, Shell’s vision for quality art programming for children
and adults was realized. For the past twelve years, Shell has
been dedicated to meeting the needs for high quality
foundational fine arts programming, particularly with art
instruction being taken out of schools across the country.
Further, Shell is committed to helping communities across the
country understand that art is as important as any academic
subject in the development of a child, by providing programs
that build confidence and a lifelong love of art.
As a career consultant of many years, Shell is
also committed to providing a career for adults who have the
desire to work in a creative environment and make a difference
in their communities. KidzArt is a business that offers an
opportunity to be successful, creative and profitable, while
being of service.
