STUDIO ART
A perfect class for kids who want to explore all areas of art! Whether it be drawing, painting, or sculpting – students will have fun creating various art projects with the step-by-step guidence of our experienced art instructors. Classes are designed to improve art skills and knowledge while offering a fun and creative atmosphere for students of all skill levels. Every week is a new project!


DRAWING STUDIO
Unleash your child’s creativity with our exciting drawing class designed just for elementary school kids! Each week, students will explore new drawing techniques while learning how to turn simple shapes into fun characters, animals, and imaginative scenes. Our supportive, step-by-step lessons help build fine motor skills, boost artistic confidence, and encourage self-expression. Whether your child loves to doodle or is just getting started, this class is a great way to grow their artistic talents in a fun, encouraging environment. No experience needed—just a love for art!


CLAY CREATIONS
Have a blast sculpting, molding, and building fun creations using clay! Students will learn and practice important sculpting techniques while experimenting with the textures, properties, and results of air-dry, polymer, and Model Magic clay. Every week is a new project! **Note: We do NOT use clay that requires kiln firing.**


CANVAS MASTERPIECES
Join us for this fun, introductory painting class where our experienced art instructors provide step-by-step guidance to young artists looking to strengthen their acrylic painting skills. From blending to mixing to creating gradients and experimenting with different brushstrokes – students will have a blast learning new techniques while painting fun topics, making each class a new creative adventure!

 

Class Policies

Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your child’s enrollment, you may do so anytime by emailing us at cary.info@kidzart.com. Payment will be cancelled for the next billing cycle. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide prorated refunds if cancelled mid-cycle.

Kindness, Respect, & Safety Policy
It is our top priority to create an environment that is safe, positive, and welcoming to all students. Because of this, KidzArt has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying or any displays of dangerous or destructive behavior. Any child exhibiting such behaviors will immediately be removed from the session without refund. We thank you for your understanding of this important policy.

Late Pick-Up Policy
Since we often have classes or events following your child’s class time, it is crucial to pick your child up from on time. If you cannot arrive on time, please make alternate arrangements ahead of time (and notify KidzArt staff immediately of any changes to cary.info@kidzart.com). Any student picked up later than 10 minutes after class dismisses may be at risk of incurring a $30 late pick-up fee. All late pick-up fee's must be paid before your child can attend the next class. Thank you for your understanding.

Important Class Information & Release of Liability
Art can be messy! Please dress your child in clothes you do not mind getting messy. Half-day campers, please have your child bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack. Full-day campers, please have your child bring a water bottle, a nut-free packed lunch, and two nut-free snacks. By registering for camp, you release the KidzArt Cary Studio & KidzArt LLC of any liability that may arise in connection with the studio’s art programs.

Inclement Weather, Missed Class, & Sick Policy
We are sorry that we cannot offer refunds for a day(s) that a child cannot attend classes due to illness, appointments, or inclement weather. Only in cases where studio must close due to inclement weather, we will place a credit on your account to use towards a future registration.

FAQ's

Do your projects repeat? 

They do not! Every class is unique, offering a brand new project. In fact, students who attend art classes consistently will benefit from practicing and learning new skills to help them become a more confident artist. 


What kind of materials are used in classes?

Materials we use depend on the class your child is registered for. All of our materials are non-toxic and may consist of (but not limited to) illustration markers, oil pastels, chalk pastels, Posca paint markers, watercolor paint, colored pencils, tempera paint, and acrylic paint (acrylic paint is used only in our acrylic painting classes).
